This place is great. No frills, delicious food, and very friendly service. Truly some of the best Indian food I have had in the area. Highly recommend!  Items Ordered: -Samosa -Pani Poori -Poori Bhaji -Poori & Subzi -Malai Kofta w/ Rice  Pros: 1. The food is very tasty and savory. 2. The potatoes in the Pani Bhaji were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sriracha or chili sauce pairs nicely for added spice. 3. Poori & Subzi was delectable and savory! 4. Samosas are tasty w/ a truly flaky crust 5. Pani Poori had a nice crunch and good flavor 6. The service is very friendly.  Cons: 1. I wish they made Gobi Manchurian  A hidden gem.

I didn't get a good impression of this restaurant for a few reasons 1 not clean, the rest in trays are dirty, as are the walls, and other surfaces 2 I saw the cashier wipe his nose, no hand wash no gloves and pack to go orders. 3 the Pannu puri had a bright red color chutney that looks store bought w artificial coloring For 7.50 I didn't fill my stomach and would not return correction edit. yes i ordered dhai puri.  focus of my review was not on what i ordered its clear in the photo what i ordered rather on the hygiene and quality of food experience. Food here is solid! As a dosa connoisseur, dosa was pretty satisfactory. Palak paneer was a bit too creamy i guess. Tasted kinda like malai kofta sort of. But really enjoyed the overall experience. Also, love the hindi that the owners speak.

The dosa was really good and the chutneys. In the Masala dosa the masala was also really great. It was all very good and yummy .Recommended dishesPav Bhaji, Dosa, Masala Dosa

Update: Arrogance and stale food quality, no hygiene maintenance may bring this place down. If you are really looking for edible food with some taste and a decent experience this place is a big NO. Please read the other reviews in recent time and one common thing is Arrogance, Rude behavior and stale food. According to the owner 50% of crowd visiting the restaurant is rude.. Hilarious..  They will be still laughing seeing no business and then wonder over their stupidity. If you have the video, I dare you to post to public so everyone knows your fake propaganda.  This place does not serve fresh food. Idly and vada were warmed and served. Chutneys were but sticky, sour and straight from refrigerator. I simply asked if they used microwave to warm the food as the Vada and Idly both were hot from inside and cold outside. The owner started making fun of it and more so upon providing feedback the owner started attacking back saying “do you think all other restaurants are serving fresh food?” When I stated I am going to put google review, owner started threatening “ I will see you there”.. Not sure what does that mean though, Started abusing with words like get out and never come back, you guys always come to get free food I had first bite, provided feedback as the discussion was going in wrong direction, simply left the food and didn’t even ask for cash back . It was the worst ever experience, I wish instead of absolute rude behavior and arrogance showed , they would have rather focused on improving food quality. For sure not going back to such place. Lastly I would say definitely owner will defend them self by saying other stories but when I reviewed other who faced similar issues it just reassured my thinking on Bangalore express and it’s management.

Very greasy oily food, doesn’t taste fresh. Not authentic Indian food here… the food doesn’t seem cooked same day. Pricey for their quality … ended up wasting more than half of it…. Terrible food here !  Let me include details, We ordered following 1. cheese mix veg uttapam - this wasn’t very greasy, mix veg was just onions and peas and some cabbageexpected more veggies.. wasn’t great to taste. I was able to complete it somehow as I was hungry. 2. Rasa vada - this was hot but the rasam was missing something in the taste but since we were too hungry we completed it 3. Spring dosa - Don’t order this - super oily, the menu said it will have cauliflower and other veggies … but it came with mashed potato only. 6 pieces total The dosa batter tasted like it’s old, dosa itself was too greasy and we ended wasting more than half of it - 4 pieces ended in trash 4. All the side Sambhar and chutneys also ended up in garbage since they didn’t taste good or fresh either  We mentioned this to the lady but her response was neutral. Won’t be back surely !

The place is fantastic. Authentic Indian taste and lovely food. We ordered Pallet, masala dosa, Poori all were homely, tasty. The kids loved the food and on our way back home, the kids already started asking - when will we come again here. Kids loved the awesome food. Very enterprising people ! Food that is cooked and served is not just tasty but it definetely has the ingredients of commitment, dedication to cooking, orientation to customer satisfaction. We are truly happy and one of very nice experiences. Sure we will keep eating there!!

Consistent taste and great service served up with a smile. I personally love the curd rice as it is truly a South Indian specialty and is as authentic as it gets. I recently ordered samosas and chole for Chaat. The samosas were large and delicious. As was the chole. The rava dosa is another favorite of mine. I e been coming here for years and highly recommend them.

Went for brunch. The Masala chai & idly+vada combo was on point. Complimentary sambar, peanut & coconut chutney was good as well. All ingredients seemed fresh. Service was quick too.

Absolutely amazing place! This is the far best Indian food I had in NJ since we moved from NY. Owner and his wife are awesome. Must try their food!
