Flavorful Hyderabad biryani done with the right layering of spices, rice & meat. Tried both their Goat & Chicken to compare- even taste from both dishes. Downside- Portions could be slightly better at their prices & their sides with the Biryani were all pretty lackluster.  Pros 1. Taste, Flavor, Authentic output 2.Quick preparation & turnaround time  Cons 1. Portion size 2. Biryani sides- Raita/Okra curry

Been going there for the past 10+ years. Seen the food go from very good to extremely bad and now it is hopeless. Now you get old stale food. In addition, they have come to a point where they will do anything to make money including cheating people. They will incorrectly charge you extra or will not give all items you have ordered for takeout. When you get back to them about the missing items, they will flatly refuse to give the missing items. If you order a large box, they will charge you for large but give the small box. Also, it is impossible to know what they have put in the box that they give you as they mess that up as well and give the wrong item. In the name of Biryani, all you get is white rice with mild flavoring. If you want to order biryani from them, it would be easier to just cook white rice at home, it will pretty much taste the same. It would not matter how much ever you ask them, request them not to add any white rice, all you will get it 95% white rice in the name of Biryani. Check your bill before you pay, check the items before you accept the package, that is if you still want to eat stale old bad food.

Just to give me another disposable box she said to me dont come here again these things are not for free. I told her im not eating at home ill be at campus so i need one. On insisting she gave me the box but on purpose refuse to give lid and laughed at me. Plus if your going here be ready to give quiz and answer mad questions and she will stare at you from head to toe. Btw I gave her an extra dollar after she gave me the box. So she could chill

The best Hyderabadi biryani and Haleem you will ever get in NJ. I enjoyed the food, and the taste was consistent.  I used the experience this taste when I was in Hyderabad, India. Even though the restaurant is far for me, the trip is worth it.

By far the best Biryani in the US. The taste is close enough to the biryani of Hyderabad, India Mutton Biryani , Chicken Biryani , Haleem , must have ! I’m sure there might be other dishes too which are good ! But I have tried only these 3 so far ! One of my major reasons I don’t want to leave NJ coz of this place !  The lady head ChefRoohi aunty is very sweet and humble . She gave me free sweets couple of times in my pick up orders ! Because I drove all the way from Parsippany just for the Biryani!

We did order a goat biriyani large pack from Roohi ji last night. It was for a get together of almost 18-20 people and we must say that the biriyani was extremely tasteful, moist , the right amount of spicy so kids could enjoy as well, goat meat was extremely soft and delicious. The raita and biriyani was packed well. It was a authentic indian biriyani.  Kid-friendliness: Not very spicy.

One of the best biryani I have tasted in New Jersey. I drive for over an hour to get it. It is less oily, tasty, aromatic, appropriately spicy, just like home made. It reminded me of Paradise biryani from Secunderabad, India. I would recommend it. The owner Roohi is kind-hearted, caring, professional, well-mannered and sweet spoken. It is a pleasure talking to this kind and wonderful lady. A kind suggestion: It would be great if they could provide also little bit of raw onion and a dash or lemon/lime.

Perfect Hyderabadi biryanis with amazing taste. Ordered chicken 65, Roohi's spl biryani, Panner Makhani and Chilli Gobi. Every thing was prepared with Perfect spice level. Thanks Roohi's for delicious food.

Terrible food, the restaurant is named Roohi's Biryani Adda, but Roohi ji does not know how to make a simple biryani. Honestly, I make better biryani at home than her! My advice, Please go back to culinary school and learn how to make a proper biryani.

We have ordered Hyderabadi chicken curry small tray for a party at home. My friends said it was tasted typical hyderabadi chicken flavor and they too quite often order Hyderabadi items regularly from this restaurant.
