Not happy after many many years here and changed to CHIME. Had a stroke and couldn’t change out all the automatic payments I had quick enough to avoid a surcharge and called them. The person I talked to was totally unsympathetic toward my situation knowing all the years I’d been there and refused to reimburse me so I left. I loved my bank. Sad I had to leave Update. Bank of America called me and wanted a call back and I say why ???? You took my $200 fees , from a long long time elderly sick declining customer and refused to listen to my explanation so why now ????? Return my fees. That would be the thing to do Bank of America. 9862@ att.net

I have had to call the branch for my son several times over the past four days. They did a wire transfer to my sons account on Friday. No one went in and approved it so he never got the funds. Was put and left on hold by the Asst Mgr for one hour today. Same lengthy hold times when we called the branch mgr yesterday. They made a huge error and we’ve had to call them to get it fixed. Most customer service people would fix their error, follow up and call the customer. They have displayed the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The hold times unacceptable . Who puts someone on hold while they open an account. A manager should know that. Bank anywhere else. If you ever need their help you are on your own.
The lady that helped me was very passive rude. She wasn't helpful at all. I went in to exchange small bills for larger ones. She wouldn't exchange all of them and didn't offer any kind of salutation. That's just plane rude. I'm not sure is she was having a bad day or whatever, but it's a bank. I have an account. I should not have been told that I had too much money to trade my bills in. That's ridiculous. This is the kind of thing that makes people not want to bank with BOA June 12th 1:30
My husband and I had a settlement check issued from Geico. The Bellvue branch flat out refused to negotiate with us. My husband called the Church St. branch and spoke with Shima Salmon. Shima and the rest of the staff at this location were very accommodating and professional. Great customer service!
I ordered checks and was told if I overnight them they will charge me a $120 fee but it will be waved once it came out of my account all I have to do just come and let them know. Today everyone is acting as if that conversation never happened. I'm shocked, disgusted, speechless and can't believe a bank as big as bank of America can do this to someone and just pretty much get away with it. I should've checked the reviews and saw the 2 stars rating maybe I wouldn't be $120 short now.
I have been a customer with Bank of America for almost 3 years, with a considerate monthly average balance, and have had no problems, I am upset that when I needed a simple Notary for my business of another partner that "did not have an account with bank of America" and therefore the associate could not Notarize my Lease for my business, I was shocked! I am a business woman and believe this is very bad practice on Bank of America's part and I hope they can change their rules next time. there won't be a next time for me I now bank with US Bank, and they had no problem giving me a Notary of my partners signature.
this bank has stole over $2400 from me. they have allowed someone to come into their office pretending they are me. I have reported this bank and the actions of this bank to my local authorities. Bank of America closed my account after they knew my disability check was deposited to the account. I was told my account was closed in November 2016 and that I cannot access this account. on December 1st 2016 the ATM took my debit card. I reported this to the bank. they lied an said I have not but I have personal audio and video to protect myself from this bank's actions. they said my payee had came into this bank a deposited $450 twice into the savings and $450 into my checking. 1st of all who the hell is my payee? I set up this account by myself. there was no authorized users but myself on this account. then I was being charged $ 24 per returned check and additional $12 for fees. they had already took their payments for the fees in Sept 2016 $179, October 2016 $ 214, November $ 279 and December 2016 $ 286 plus $214 for a savings account I did not open. it is sad that I was referred to this bank by social security administration as a protection bank but they were the ones who stole Christmas and my rent money for December 2016. over $ 800 i needed to keep a roof of the heads of my family. i have a job but the struggle is real when the people you trust take advantage and brush it off like it's their money to be played with.
Called to ask a question about an account and picking up a letter for a mortgage closing. The lady on the phone wasn't helpful, gave me no additional options to help, and rushed me off the phone without so much as a "thanks" or "bye." I'll be going elsewhere for my in-person transactions.
