Tye service is good . But i think they have short of stuff at cash counter. Waiting time is bit longer. Apart from that customer service is not bad.
The customer service has been amazing and has helped my elderly mother with her account. Shahida has been amazing and I witnessed her deal with some unruly customers which she handled with such patience and professionalism. Another lady also, didn't get her name, she is blonde with glasses also was amazing. The women at Eastham's branch have been welcoming and lovely.
Received excellent customer service from both Sindhu and Jane, they listened and acted on our requests for managing our account. Both were understanding and very patient and explained very clearly.
Most staff are very friendly. Leena, stood out for me. She is very professional, great customer service.
Customer service is great, nice and friendly and welcoming. It would be great if Santander could arrange a system on banking apps to scan your cheque so would save the hassle from having to go to the bank.
Not to bad I needed to deposit cash but 8.45 night ATM worked no problems thanks to Santander atm
Terrible terrible service. Went into open a bank account . Lady at the desk told me it's too late to open a bank account was around 3pm and told me to come back the next day at 11am. I go in the next day the person serving me had told me no I needed an appointment, the only appointment was at 3pm. So I had to waste my time going back home and returning at 3pm. I went in they had said it had not gone through and I was unable to open a bank account. The male serving me had told me he will contact me on Monday with updates with my account. No phone call on Monday. I had called the bank on Tuesday and they had told me they will look into this issue and give me a call back. The lady gave me a call back on Friday end of the week saying she is still looking into this matter and told me once AGAIN she will call back on Monday , as you guessed they did not call back on Monday. It's a terrible branch with rubbish service. They are not reliable nor professional. There are plenty of other branches to visit. My best advise not this one!!
This is the worst bank in the UK. The employees are horrible and the worst you can imagine. You can have a 3rd world experience in this branch. I was stopped at 1:55 pm, while the branch was supposed to be closed at 2 pm. Legally I should get an entry as there were less than 15 customers. Lie, lack of transparency and unprofessionalism is in what Santander excel. Just moving my business account to Barclays and will be lodging a formal complaint.
Terrible customer service. Visited this branch twice, first time they told me they can do it within the branch, the second time I was told that they the branch wasn't opening new bank accounts which was funny because my visits were one week apart. It looked like they weren't bothered to spend 20 mins of their time trying to help me. I honestly find it interesting how there's different people were giving me a different information. The worst bit is that on my second time the bank was empty and they were clearly not busy at all. Awful service, I'm very disappointed in their lack of respect for their customers.
The most cowboy bank ever. They opened the wrong sort of bank account. I applied for the everyday current account a few weeks back they opened a basic bank account instead and then posted two different cards and I was baffled as to which one does what. Till date I haven’t been able to login into online banking they made it so difficult for me to login by throwing so many difficult numbers to remember my way. I had to wait ages for login details to be sent in the post. I called up and asked for a contactless card and they couldn’t give me that or upgrade my account to the one which gives a contactless card and instead told me to open it separately so I just got fed up and left them and told them to close it. I’m better off with nationwide. Honestly avoid Santander unless you want to live in the 1947 era with appalling customer service.
