How I love this store.  There used to be a bunch of fabric stores in Connecticut but over the years they have disappeared one by one.  This store has a knowledgeable staff and a wonderful collection of high quality fabrics for home or dressmaking.  The prices are very good too for what you are getting.  If you sew, this store is a must to go to, you won't regret it.

I have been visiting Banksville since 1994 and have always found the owner and staff very helpful. This is where you go for fabulous fabrics at fabulous prices.

Best location to find beautiful material to make curtains or tablecloth, especially around the Holidays.  The staff is very helpful in finding particular fabrics.  They also have a nice selection of buttons.

I found the gentleman who assisted us to be professional and very helpful in selecting silk material to match my outfit.  Banksville's selection of fabrics and buttons is amazing. I shop in RI, CT and NY and their silk quality and prices are the among the best I've found.
