At Banner Desert Medical Center, we are dedicated to a high-tech, high-touch philosophy of care that has helped us become the hospital of choice for East Valley communities for nearly 40 years.

Aside from the fact of waiting in the E.R.
After I finally got a room I was hospitalized for 5 days. Yes the wait time does take a while to get scans and what not but overall my nurses is what made my experience better than expected. I appreciate the care I had and how much empathy most nurses and aids had. Of course there were some who just did the job and move on, but for the ones who made an impact, I remember them and thankful to have them during my stay.

If you can go to any other emergency room, PLEASE do so! I came here with extreme pain on my right side thinking it was my appendix. I laid in a bed for FIVE hours before I was taken to get any testing done, and by hour seven I had to demand to see a doctor. The lack of attention in that place was just mind boggling. Joe, my ER nurse, was fantastic and really stayed on top of things. However, everyone else couldn't be bothered. They also had people sick with the flu lining the hallways which is pretty disgusting. I took a shower as soon as I got home because I just felt so gross from being there.

I appreciate looking at everyone's feedback. From the looks of this, it looks like this hospital is completely garbage. I will make sure my girlfriend DOES NOT give birth there. I'd rather go to mount Vista medical center. This hospital is all about money. Maybe the owner needs to re-evaluate all employees, and start making changes.

Received amazing care by all levels and members of the staff. NICU nurses were informative but not overbearing. I was comfortable and pleased with my child birth experience at this medical center.

So far not very impressed by this facility. They flash their mission statement every, but is it followed. I am realistic. Record flu cases, emergency rooms having to close for hours they are so overloaded. But not informing patients of lab or scan results is just wrong. We will be charged $1,000’s and still have not been given decent information by staff or doctors. Sad situation about the status of their medical care.
