Angela Bothwell is a true healer - I have been seeing Angela for about 4 years now. I have chronic pain that I have to deal with about every two months before it's too annoying, and one 90 minute session with Angela always seems to get rid of it. usually by the second of third day after the massage, I end up feeling like I have a new body! She is careful, and knows exactly what you are feeling. I don;t know how she does it. she has truly magical touch that you just cannot find anywhere else.

I saw Angela for massage therapy for several years and she did a terrific job helping me through stress tension, injury, a car accident and pregnancy. She's intuitive and talented. Her schedule changed and now I have seen Shawna & Amber, the other massage therapists that practice at Banyan Tree. I've been really happy with them too! All 3 massage therapists are great and are able to apply a good amount of pressure without it feeling sharp or like a pinch. Plus, I really like that you can get a discount buying a package of massages ahead of time. Plus, it's really convenient that you can schedule and pay online. It's nice to just go and get a massage and have the rest already done.

Angela is awesome! I have been receiving bodywork from Angela for over three years. She has helped be recover from decades of overwork, stress, sports injuries and, more recently, a car accident. She has amazing touch and connection, able to massage both sensitively and deep. And she has been instrumental in my own path the better health and well being. Recently, I began massage school myself, and I have found myself incredibly thankful for all of the wonderful body work I have received from Angela over the years. She is the benchmark against which I measure my own instruction, growth and experience as a student of massage. I recommend her highly to anyone seeking relaxation, rejuvenation or recovery. You will not be disappointed!

Angela is such a wonderful massage therapist! I've had the pleasure of experiencing many over the years, but Angela is equal to the best. By that I mean most helpful for my particular issues. Knowledgeable, warm and inviting, fully attentive, very gentle yet very strong. Last two times I saw her, she did ashiatsu massage, where she holds onto bars attached to the ceiling and uses her feet. Oh man, let me tell you: her feet are as intuitive as her hands, and with the added leverage she was able to go deep where it was needed. Love her husband Kim as well! Banyan Tree is a real healing place.

I began treatment with Angela several months ago. I have always demanded a very deep massage and rarely do I find anyone who can work as deeply as I need it. First, Angela is a sweetheart and a pleasure to be around, but boy does she do deep work! She does a type of Asian massage where she uses the weight of her body through her feet to provide the deep pressure. She has always been extremely careful and works in stages on my back, as she carefully and slowly adjusts the pressure. Strange as it was to me, I fell asleep! during my first massage with her. I'm guessing that like me, most of her clients return. She also does traditional massage work with her hands, but it's the deep work that is Angela's forte, and gift.
