Eat. Drink. Be Happy. What does it take to be a regular at Bar Louie Garrison? An enjoyment of the craft and the desire to experience something out of the ordinary. From our Chicago roots, we've always known that having a comfortable place to hang out, get great drinks, scratch food, awesome music, and the best service was something special. We create every Bar Louie with all of that in mind. It might not seem like an easy task, but we want to make sure you have a great time, any time you decide to come in. We could make it easier on ourselves, but we live for the quality and uniqueness of what we create. From our handcrafted everything bar, to our scratch everything kitchen, it's in our DNA to be the best. We're at our best when you're having a great time. It may not be normal and it certainly isn't ordinary, but we believe you deserve more than ordinary. If you're not a regular yet... You will be.

Very average kind of chain restaurant. Very simple selection of food, nothing really notable or exceptional to speak of as far as food or drinks go. Some vegetarian options, but not many and not great. Mediocre drink selection, but decent happy hour specials if you like mostly generic drinks. Some local brew selection which were decent.. Loud environment and bustling. Nice outdoor seating and open windows in the warmer months. Wait staff is okay, but often slow and forgetful.

My family has been to Bar Louis several times and we have always had at least an "alright" experience. It is convenient when we have a late night and not much else is open. Four of us went on Tuesday, April 18 and had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. The service was terrible. Our server could not seem to remember anything without is telling me multiple times. More than once we had to grab other servers to help us. My husband and I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which is what we normally order when we go. When it was finally brought out, both sandwiches we BLACK!! I was so appalled I didn't think to take a photo until it had already been taken from our table. We were told by a different server that it was because the grease had been used all day. Of course that excuse didn't make it any better because essentially we were being served a sandwich made in old grease. The remake of the chicken sandwich was slightly lighter but we still had to peel all the burned breading off. Our server never brought us any refills on water and kept disappearing outside and in the kitchen for long periods of time. For some reason a few of the servers, in between serving their tables, were sitting at a table eating. I am still confused about that practice. By the end of the meal we asked for the manager and when we spoke to him he acted really timid and didn't seem to be a problem solver AT ALL!! He said the servers were allowed to eat and serve at the same time and didn't offer much in terms of ensuring that we return. He said he would have a talk with our server. I suppose our server knew we ratted him out because he didn't acknowledge us at all as we were leaving. The one bright side is that the key lime dessert was good. I am still very surprised about this experience especially since this location is so new. I would expect management to be running a tighter ship.

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner on a Friday evening (5/12). The place was about 2/3 full and we were told there was about a 20 minute table wait, which was fine. Once we were seated we sat there for 15 minutes until we were able to flag down the hostess. No water, no greeting, nobody to take our orders. Still nobody showed up. 5 minutes later we were met by the manager who finally put in our appetizer and drink order. It was only then that we finally saw our waitress. Our appetizer came out about 10 minutes later and our drinks didn't show up until about 5 minutes after that. It should never take 40 minutes to get a drink at a bar that's only moderately busy. We ended up ordering food only because by this point we were starving and didn't feel like going anywhere else. I give the place 2 stars because our food and drinks were actually very good. Our waitress never checked on us throughout the entire meal and ended up having the bar-back bring us everything. We were comped our appetizer for our troubles, which ended up being about $5 due to their happy hour specials. Owings Mills is lacking good bars so I was hoping to have a good experience but I think this place is off my list.

Horrible food service. Visited during Late Night Happy Hour. It took close to 40 minutes to receive one order of calamari. When it arrived, it was not deep fried well. The texture was rubbery and tasted oliy as if fried in old oil. When asked for a fork, it was never received. The appetizer was returned and removed from the bill. From the bar, the martini cocktails were very good; however, the bar was messy with dirty glasses, napkins and wet spots. The noise level is VERY LOUD, so if you're sensitive, this is not the place to go. The benefit is that it is open late, but if you're hungry, be prepared to wait a long time to get your food. Will most likely not return.

Worst service EVER! Better customer service @ 7-11! Rude staff, We were seated No one came to greet us had to ask if we were getting a waiter. Food was blah had to ask for saucers, napkins and silverware of course 10mins after food came. Don't let me start on the food.... How about their was leftovers we didn't want to take it home. Bryan was pretty cool tho he wasn't supposed to be our server but took care of us.
