Family owned and operated since 1985, we strive to serve the public great food at reasonable prices.

Story

We serve a variety of entrées with influences from American, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian cuisine. All our seafood is caught locally, entrées are prepared fresh to order, and all members of our staff take great pride in their work and service. Dine in, takeout, or enjoy a beverage in our lounge area. We also have space available for small parties and functions.

Went to Barcellos this past Saturday night after hearing a lot of great things. The place was packed when we got there. Food did take alittle long but totally worth the wait. I had the stuffed scrod and it was the best I ever had!! Can't wait to go back and try the other dishes.

Waited almost 2 hours for the food. Food was not typical Portuguese, only a very few dishes. Very loud restaurant. Was not impressed. If you want traditional Portuguese food and nice atmosphere this is not the place. Nice bar. Pub food- American.

Rated on food, atmosphere, staff, an cleanliness. Good place for a quick bite, family visit, a beer, or take out. Nice addition to the local line up of good restaurants.

Let me start by saying the food was very good. If you are going to eat here have patience and ALOT OF TIME!  My husband and I had been seated 40 minutes before our sodas were brought to us. With a simple so sorry they are busy at the bar.....for soda?!! And we sat in the restaurant.  My salad was brought to me before my beverage. It was an additional hour before our food arrived and then we didnt see our waiter after that, the busgirl boxed our food upon checking on us. Good food but dear lord the service is painstakingly awful.

The kale soup was thick and flavorful and the Chowdah was spot on. The seafood extravaganza was out of this world !!!! Large lobster tails, mussels, clams, and succulent scallops. All in an awesome sauce. Top 3 of all time. Well Done Barcellos
