My son and his fiance who is stationed in the Middle East decided to get married earlier when she was home on leave. This gave me 3 weeks to find a venue for 25 people. I got no after no after no. I left a message at the Barker tavern and got a call back the next day from Betsey. She was AWESOME!!! And said I can help you. She gave many options. I decided to use what would have been a usual open dining room that would fit 24 and was a private area. She gave me the menu and said they could get married in that room. Then the bride came to town and flipped everything. Betsey had already taken a one hour call from her while she was in the middle East. Myself and the bride went in....I must add she let us do this while also running a huge wedding in the function room. To accommodate the bride we changed the time to 4 so we could use a different room for ceremony and there would be seating and she could make an entrance. I apologized to Betsey for all the changes. She said "It doesn't matter the size, she's the bride it's her day too". She even gave her a bridal suite to get ready. Everything went off without a hitch. Food and service great. I'd give 10 stars for the Barker Tavern and Betsey if I could. Thank you thank you it was beautiful.

We were up here for a vacation from Los Angeles. The food and drinks were top notch. If you can get Patrick as a waiter, I highly recommend it. He was everything that a waiter in a nice restaurant should be and we were well taken care of. The caprese salad is where it's at for a starter. Enjoy.

Was here for a family wedding, their location is beautiful, their staff is very polite and professional. Made for a great experience!

We arrived without reservations and were directed to the tavern in back for more pub-style fare. A bit cramped and packed for a Tuesday night, though all seemed to be local. Once seated, the wait staff was very polite and attentive. The ingredients were fresh and well prepared, presentation was nice.
