Welcoming customers to Barn Thai - ' House of Thai' - for 16 consecutive years, the owner-chefs’ roots trace back to Bangkok and Korat (the capital of Issan, in the North East of Thailand). They are passionate about their food, engaging Thai classic cuisine and local specialty cooking techniques. Everything is made using fresh ingredients, made to order, and made from scratch.
Thai cuisine is known for its spiciness, but in fact true Thai cooking is an artful balance of five flavors: savory, sweet, sour, spicy, and sometimes bitter. Layered on top is the full bounty of tropical herbs such as galangal and ginger, kaffir lime and tamarind, lemongrass, cilantro and basil. The intricate interplay of all these characteristics is what makes our Thai food special.
