Jared in the Music dept. was incredibly friendly and helpful. They didn't have the Beach House album I was looking for but he was kind enough to chat music with me and recommend some similar artists. The rest of the store was organized and everything you could hope a B&N to be.

Honestly, I can't tell that this B&N is larger than the one in Cortlandt, but the high ceilings make it feel that way. Great selection, helpful staff, but the sections have moved around over the years which is a little bit disorienting. If you want a larger selection, the Poughkeepsie B&N is more likely to have full series, older books, more variety in clearance, but it also moves quicker. I like this one a lot, and the cafe is nice and large, you're almost always able to get a seat with friends or sit and read a new book.

This B&N is huge and has helpful staff. I'm not really a book store junkie, but we got in, accomplished what we had to accomplish and got out. They had free gift wrapping for donations. I think that was because there was some school event going on for Christmas and that's why it was set up in a collab with them.

It's been a while since I was in B&N; impressed by the selection, including older novels by popular authors, and some not so well known. Clean, spacious, seating to peruse books.

Nice place to relax and find some reading material....it would be nice if they had more seating and electrical outlets for times I use my laptop there.
