Check out line was a little long, but moved steadily due to the efficiency of the 4 check out clerks.  My check was done swiftly and very professionally.  In and out of the store with my product in less than 10 minutes.

on the weekends my workplace is right across this area, so i usually stop in before to get some coffee at the cafe. they serve starbucks coffee, and with a b&n card you save 10% cafe items as well as everything else, so cheapest starbucks coffee in town, and it’s pretty good. workers here are pretty nice, and it’s a well kept store. i know one guy who works here, forgot his name, but he was real cool. i still see him in every once and awhile but i usually just get coffee. bearded guy, you know who you are, a true legend. the only thing i don’t like is the location. this is not b&n’s fault, more of a Manassas problem, but since i don’t drive walking in the area, especially in the parking lot there are creepers. had to call the police after being sexually harassed in broad daylight. just watch out, be on the lookout in this area in general.

Generally, B&N is quiet, good coffee shop, seating, decent selection of books and magazines, clean, but the toilet here is old and trashy.

It's a typical B&N . . . What are you expecting?  The staff is always pretty nice and helpful - but they seem to turn over a lot.  The store isn't gigantic but it's well-stocked and in decent shape.  The bathrooms are pretty gross though.  Somehow a movie and music section survives in the back.
