I had a rare but very pleasant experience visiting this store. Since we became slaves of our devices, we forgot how interesting and fun it is to walk between aisles of books, or sit at the store's cafeteria and glance through magazines.
The kids section is amazing and the employees are very nice and courteous. You should try it. This store is so relaxing

A pleasure visiting Westlake store. Whether in the coffee shop, audio or books the staff always makes me feel like I am their only client. Terrific experience again!

I think I've said this before, but here we go: sure, you can save a couple bucks on books buying online or from Wally World, if you want, but then you are just sending your money to another city and another state. Barnes & Noble has the best selection, cool, helpful employees, and genuinely cares about books and about Thousand Oaks. Plus it's a great place for kids' birthday parties. You'll always walk out of Barnes & Noble with a smile.

Never had less than a five star experience here. Anytime they didn't have what we were looking for, the staff was super helpful in locating it for us.
