Amazing food and neighborhood vibe. The staff was super friendly and Paige helped us decide on the best food for our table! The burger was super tasty and the seasoned fries can’t be beat, will be back!
In my experience every time when some restaurant asks a degree of donenesse - the burger turns out to be worse than a regular burger from a restaurant that doesn't ask this. The burger in the picture Barney's burger felt empty and tasteless. Maybe I was supposed to buy extra sauce in the restaurant, I don't know. I believe that a burger should be good by default, without requiring me to prepare it by myself. Maybe their other menu items are better, but I rate only burgers. And about the service, if I say "for here" this means for here, not to go. Though in this case the service doesn't matter, my rating is for a burger relatively to other burgers in LA.
Always a delight to come here! Over a 10 year love affair with this restaurant... can't say enough for the quality of the food, top notch service from the staff... just LOVE this spot. It is worth the drive for this SFV girl.Food: 5/5
We saw this join on Instagram and decided to make the drive... Glad I did. I had been craving a gourmet burger in these did not disappoint. I would warn you to be careful with modifications to two burgers, fries and an appetizer ran us over $60. That said, the flavor was amazing.
The 1lb, delicious but order medium. I was thinking two 1/2lb patties. Instead one big patty and bun is strange. Was good but a la carte.
This place is filthy and the food is not good. Only gave it two stars because the beef patty was actually pretty good. Outside dining patio looks as if it doubles for a homeless shelter over night. I would not recommend Barney's. Too bad. I had high hopes.
Pretty damn good burger if I must say! I got the Gastropub and it was cooked perfectly and had a runny egg! Pretzel bun was soft and chewy. It came with some house made potatoes chips, but those were mediocre, the heat of the burger made most of they soft and soggy instead of being crisp. Also got some sweet potatoes fries which were sweet and well seasoned.
The famous plant based burgers now available. Very tasty, satisfying and well presented. Doesn’t sit heavy in my stomach like beef does plus no cholesterol is a great benefit. Their turkey burgers are excellent, ask for the sweet potato fries. They serve Grolsh lager from Holland which is a rare and exceptional beer. Servers are usually polite and attentative. The place is well kept and comfortable. Windows offer great views of San Vincente Blvd. Been coming here for 5 years and it’s always worth the trip from Venice.
Prices have gone way up. Food is still good service was so so... Parking is a nightmare And if you were lucky enough to even get into the Lot in the back 45 minutes is not nearly enough validation time it should be a minimum of an hour especially during their busy periods.Food: 3/5
Great-tasting burger fare, extremely courteous staff, and acceptable prices. I’m grateful to have them in the neighborhood.
