Bart's has come to the rescue for me over and over with a tow, a lockout, repairs and even air in my tires and friendly advice. The great attitudes and professional service level of the guys at Bart's reflect Milton's small town values and I will continue to use Bart's whenever I can. :)

Well,  After searching for a place to get my oil change done in town,  I found Bart's auto had a opening for me to get in and just the oil change done.  This was my first time doing business with Bart's auto.  I consulted with the nice lady at the front desk about getting a synthetic high mileage oil and Bart was there in the back office and agreed with me on that.  All I requested was an oil change, which should have been a little over $40 and some change. 
 I sit in the waiting room reading a newspaper and waited for my car to get done.  I did not see it get raised up  on a lift, but I did see a mechanic walking around my car with the hood up  during the process of the oil change. 
 A few minutes pass and I see my car returned to the parking lot, and the mechanic comes  to the front desk where I am ready to pay for "just the oil change"... The mechanic  proceeded to tell me that my brake light bulbs were out and there were 6 of them  and that he went and replaced them and  that they would cost me about $6  each bulb.   
I was shocked!!  in disbelief!!  I informed him that  HE DID NOT Come out to the waiting room and consult me of this issue  so I could make the decision on what I was going to do about it. I also informed them that  
 I work on my car often when I can.  I have rebuilt the entire top half of my engine 5 years ago... I just replaced the entire  rear brake system  including the lines in this vehicle... And he is trying to tell me that HE WENT AND REPLACED  BULBS  WITHOUT MY CONSENT ???????
BAD BAD BAD  IDEA  !!!!! 
 I Told Him I am NOT Paying for work I did NOT Agree on!!! 
He tried to pull another fast one by saying  that all he would charge me for is the bulbs and  take off the labor!!  I SAID NO!!  NONE !! AT ALL!!  
By this time I was shaking!!  I was  irate!!  
In my opinion, He should be at least written up for his poor customer service  skills!! 
So, they removed the entire charge  from my bill and I left with a bad taste in my mind for this business!  I did pay for the oil change however because that is exactly the work I agreed on! 
 Will I go back there ? Probably NOT! 
Will I send a friend or family member there ?  Probably NOT! 
 I don't deal with  SHADY ASS  PEOPLE!!!
