Battlefield Elementary has one of the best librarians.

I was in kindergarten and my teachers name was Ms. McGuinness, I believe. As I recall, she was a young woman, so she must be ready to retire now, considering I am almost 40.  She was a nice lady who gave me gold stars for good behavior lol.  I also remember she read us stories and we had a lot of show and tells.  I remember the school was almost brand new, and that my older brother was on the other side of the building where the "big kids" were lol.  Other than that, the only thing I remember is bringing extra money for ice cream sandwiches or nutty buddy ice cream cones after lunch.  I am actually surprised I remember this much lol.  Oh yeah, I remember one time my older sister came over from Spotsylvania High School with some other students and performed a play for us, which I think was set in Revolutionary War times. I wonder if she remembers that...hmmm.
