Bay Quilts is a local quilt shop, fabric store, gallery, and workshop space featuring consignments and unique gifts from artists in the Bay Area and beyond

Story

Our Fabrics:
We offer a full range of fabrics including cotton, linen, canvas, silk, organic, bamboo, polyester, and wool, in solids and prints. Our area of expertise is quilting but fabrics have been purchased for use in clothing and interiors. We also have hand-dyed silks from By-Hand ,hand-dyed wools and ribbons from Vicki Day Designs, painted fabric from Skydyes, hand-dyed cotton gradations from The Dye Smith, hand-dyed velvet from Karen Brock Studios, and Ikats from Azure Textiles. We have Kimono Fabrics from Kasuri Dyeworks as well as other Japanese fabrics including packs of vintage kimono fabric. Our focus is contemporary and texture, unique and organic!

Our Dolls:
We have Cloth Dolls on display and for sale. We carry a wide range of specialty yarns, tools and accessories for the doll maker. Look for Gallery Exhibits and Workshops starting soon!
Our Buttons We have over 400 different buttons of all sizes, shapes and textures for that perfect ending to any project, be it quilt, doll, clothing or accessory.

Our Gallery:
We offer 75 linear feet of exhibit space. Exhibits are a month long. Gallery receptions are the first Sunday every month from 1pm to 4pm.

Our Consignments:
We have for sale a huge wall of quilts from baby to king size to art quilts, cloth dolls and unique gift items from quilters/artists in the Bay area and beyond.

Our Workshops:
Start January 2017. Look for Local and National Teachers with specialties in techniques, designs, and pattern development in quilting, clothing and accessories.
