recently stayed at the Baymont Inn and Suites in Des Moines, IA. I can say that even though they were under construction during my visit, it was still a pleasant stay. The hotel is located just a tad off the beaten path and the hotel looks like an old school building, but don’t let that fool you. It was exactly what you would expect from a Baymont Inn. The staff was polite and informative, pleasant and helpful. My check in was a breeze, which is often the most tedious part of any hotel experience. Parking was plentiful by the entrance that led to the elevator and they had a pool that was open until 11pm. There was breakfast in the morning which I wasn’t able to partake in, but it’s still nice to know that they have it. One of the cool things about this location, is that some of the rooms, my room in particular, are in little blocks of 4-6 rooms, so instead of you being somewhere in a long hallway with kids running up and down, you are in a little sound bubble that makes your whole experience QUIET! When you travel as much as I do and stay in as many hotels as me, you really never take a quiet hotel for granted. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable and everything you would want in a hotel. If you are traveling through the area and want a nice place to stay and relax, I do recommend this place. You won’t regret it.

This one of the best, nicest motels we've ever stayed at. The staff is very friendly and helpful, seem to go out of their way a accommodate you. The rooms are clean, odor free, and nice sized. The breakfast bar, is a true breakfast buffet. The rates are reasonable , can't say enough good things about it.

Very well kept hotel. One of the nicest Baymont's I've stated at. Close to the airport and quiet. Only issue is lack of restaurants in the area.

This was pretty good place. There is 2 pool tables, a pool, and a hot tub. The hot tub however had a ring of gross around the outside on the wall. It was so thick it would have had to of been scrapped off. Way past scrubbing. It was gross! The pool tables were fabulous as long as you got their early enough to get one before the truck drivers came in or they would take both pool tables over for 6 or 7 hours until it was 1 or 2 in the morning. The pool was nice though!

Accommodations were very good, beds were comfortable, clean rooms, staff was very friendly. The only thing that definitely needs improvement is the breakfast, they had a nice selection of food but the eggs were rubbery and they need more selection in the fresh fruit department. All in all would recommend it to friends.
