The Purpose of the BAY Shul shall be to foster and maintain an environment which facilitates and promotes the growth of Torah Judaism. Bay Shul is the only Orthodox synagogue in Buffalo Grove area. Specific programming and events designed to achieve this goal will focus on spiritual, cultural, and social activities. The BAY Shul is devoted to reaching all Jews, through ongoing community outreach programs. The Shul also encourages the growth of the Greater Buffalo Grove Jewish community and will strive to:
* Maintain a focus on personal growth through Torah and commitment to Jewish values
* Promote the essence of a Jewish community; understanding and feeling responsible for one another
* Create a warm and welcoming environment, where all Jews are made to feel comfortable and involved
