I normally have great customer service, however today, I pulled up at 4:59 pm and the drive thru tellers were all closed. I rated the bank one star because the teller advised me with a smile that they were shutting systems down already, and she was sorry. These 9am - 5 pm bank hours do not work for the majority, we work 8am - 5pm, with a 30 minute lunch. No availability for their customers! I know they want to go home too, yet 4:59 pm, is not 5 pm. At least some common courtesy for those in line that rushed through traffic.

I agree with several other reviews of the Ayers St BBVA Compass branch having slow service.  I've experienced this a few times there.  Once, I was the only person waiting for a teller to do a Paysource card transaction.  With no one in front of me after I entered the bank, it still took approx 30 mins for them to take care of me.  

I've had several workers in this branch just look at me and then not even try to get anyone to help me.  

For Corpus, the BBVA Compass branch off SPID between Everhart and Staples in Moore Plaza is the place to go.  They are always friendly and have fast service.

The Bishop branch is very good too for those of you who travel that direction.

Horrible customer service. Bank card quit working after 2 weeks...nobody could tell me why and did not want to help me...lady scoffed at me when I wanted to turn in some change because they don't have a coin counter, just went to HEB so I didn't have to deal with her. Been having trouble with my mobile account also...have plenty of $ in the account but will close the account this week. How can we earn a 10 from you it says at the counter... such BS! Just bad attitude with everyone at all Corpus Christi  branches...

Worst bank/branch i've ever dealt with. Management is clueless to proper procedures, the tellers are slow. Can expect a 15 minute wait in line with only 1 person ahead of you. When it comes to paysource they often shut the system down 30 minutes before close and in 2016 the system was down for almost 2 months without caring about getting it fixed even if it effected customer's paychecks. the branch on spid is a much better choice...those people at least act like they care about doing their job. wish i could give 0 stars
