When we pulled up it looked like a low income housing. The owners were very nice and room was clean. I wouldn't feed my dog out of the pots and pans. The last morning I went to dry my face on a towel handing over the shower rod and a roach was walking up the shower curtain. We were out of there in 10 minutes. It was convenient to the beach but that is all. You had to drive everywhere else you wanted to go.

This is a nice motel that is reasonable. They allow animals and staff is friendly.

The Elderly gentleman who owns this place and lives downstairs is very nice. The Motel is in a nice section of New Smyrna - residential. Perfect place for traveling people who are on a budget and appreciate the beach. Most rooms have a kitchen, and you can see the ocean from the back two rooms. You can't ask for much more at his price. It was perfect for me because I love New Smyrna and I wasn't looking for a place with tennis courts or a pool - I wanted a bed and a hot shower on the beach for cheap - The Beachcomber has that plus charm.
