Cristina has helped me for the second time. I had a sudden change in plans to leave Orlando for a quick getaway. I arrived kind of later than a usual check in hour. (3am) Cristina had no problem checking me in and making sure I was squared away amazing hospitality! This is my new go to for a fun time on the beach! Thanks Marriot for having people like Cristina! Had a great stay. Christina was working front desk and was so helpful and pleasant. Hands down best spot to stay in town. Also had a wonderful time w joyce in the bar. Felt right at home. Good job... I appreciate u girls and all you do. Thank you :) Can't wait for my next weekend getaway :)

Nice ,new hotel but it needs some improvements. Bathroom mirror was so high I could only see the top of my head. And, there is not one covered area outside around the pool. It will be torture once weather turned to 90o to 95o. Other issues..no drawers in room so there is no place to put things. And, luggage rack is built on AC/heater so anything in your suitcase is subjected to wide range of temperatures. Bathroom has no hooks or racks to hang anything. I'm a Marriott loyal and was a little disappointed. But, breakfast was awesome. Everything fresh and nicely laid out. They'll get the kicks out soon.

It's a beautiful hotel but for just opening up in January there is a lot of odd work that needs done, carpet already ripping up out of room, stair well missing rubber grip on one stair, and oh the entire reason I am leaving an one star- BED BUGS. Now, I'm a practical person, I understand you run the risk of bed bugs staying anywhere, but once it was brought to the attention of the staff (i.e. blood on my pillow case, bites in clusters on my shoulders and nape of neck, and I had went to bed the night prior without the bites) they seemed like they kind of looked over the bed and said ''okay we will have management call you'. Well, it has been four days and still no call which leads me to believe they did nothing about the situation and are continuing to rent out a room with bed bugs. So while it's a nice hotel, I would caution travelers to check out the next hotel that actually takes concern about their guest and their comfort.

Location of the hotel is great in relation to the beach. Love the laid back atmosphere of the hotel and the easy access to restaurants and quaint shops. The staff is very friendly and have made a number of suggestions that have been helpful.
