Story

Beacon Mechanical’s history in the heating and air conditioning service business, can be traced all the way back to the late 1940’s when Clifford Riggott, opened a highly respected, full service heating company, working in the commercial marketplace. Today we are a locally owned and operated company, here in Granby, Connecticut. We support our neighbors and communities, by providing superior customer service. Our team of professionals are experienced, highly trained, and fully equipped to service, repair or replace your existing heating and cooling equipment.

We purchased a property with a 1 year old furnace that Beacon had installed for the former homeowner.  An adjustment needed to be made to the venting and Beacon came out and completed the work under warranty.  We give them 5 BIG stars for that because they did not have to do it.  In addition the workmanship on the entire installation really stands out as first rate.  Thank you Beacon for delivering service excellence that is so rare to encounter in today's times:-)

Put in a new oil tank, friendly fast service - no muss no fuss. They cleaned up after and everything works great!

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had a pipe bust and Beacon's Emergency Service came to our rescue. They had our heat and water back on within a couple hours. The protective footwear they used during service to keep our floors clean was very professional. Customer service was top notch. Thank you so much.

Absolutely great work performed at my house, only problem is you can't trust their quotes. I met the owner who seemed like a great guy but when I got a bill for more then I was quoted I felt the need to call. He was pretty snotty and rude to me, I simply told him I thought it was poor customer service that no one called me to let me know they run into problems. As I said, great quality of work, but you don't know what they will charge you. Unfortunate that they don't know how to treat the customer
