No longer much impressed either by the quality of the merchandise or the pricing.  In an increasing competitive and difficult retail environment, a chain needs to excel in some area. Not so with Bealls. You have many choices these days, with Macy's fighting for life, and, in the Bealls wheelhouse TJMaxx and Marshalls, among others. I used to be a regular visitor. Now, I seldom drop in. And on the rare occasion when I do, the stores are seldom busy.
