After suffering with tooth/jaw pain from what I thought was teeth grinding while I slept, turned out to be something much more serious. Pain continued to progress through subsequent days. With every heart beat, a staggering pain to my lower jaw. I could barely eat. Sleepless nights followed. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. I showed up the following morning, no appointment to Beautiful Dentistry in Tempe. After a thorough diagnosis, it was determined that the persistent pain was due to a dying nerve located in the molar in question. Dr. Heap and his dental assistant, Kelsey, proceeded to explain that I needed a root canal. Yikes!! I broke out into a cold sweat. A Root Canal, to me, was something that you overheard in conversations by people comparing battle scares. But as it turns out, it really wasn't as bad as all that. Dr. and assistant worked in concert to ease my nervousness and trepidation, and perform the much-needed root canal which quickly restored my sanity. And, I didn't feel a thing through the whole procedure. Afterwards, when the anesthetic did wear off, I started to feel some discomfort. I took one Tylenol (supplied by the office) and that was that. Absolutely no more pain. Dr. Heap kindly followed up with an evening phone call to check on how I was doing. I told him that I didn't feel any residual pain or discomfort. It was like the whole "jack-hammer-in-the-mouth" episode never happened. I joked that that must have been one heck of a pain pill. But really, "The Doc" is a super-hero in the guise of a mild-mannered dentist.

Went for first time. Very professional staff and great dentist. We will go back from here on forward. Very thorough dental cleaning.

We have been going to Dr Heap for over 25 years.  They have always did a wonderful job.  They care about your teeth and they care about you.  I would highly recommend them for the excellent work they do to make your smile great and the kindness they show.  Well done team!

Today was a wonder experience once again! Doc and Ranae did a great job and as always it was a pain free and stress free visit. See you guys in March!

Absolutely amazing!! I was terrified and they all made feel so at ease and made sure I was fully numb before doing any work. Dr. Heap also talked me through every step the whole time! I will only go to him from now on for all my dental care!!
