I saw you thugs arrest that big bad homeless man on the exit of the highway. You guys are real heroes. Seriously, how do you guys live with yourselves? You should be ashamed of yourselves. If you truly were the good guys, you would help that man get a job and some food. What if that was your family member standing on that exit?

This police department is one of a kind. They go above and beyond to protect the city of Beavercreek. Every wonder why the city is safe and not as crazy as most parts of Dayton, it's because of the police department. They are extremely quick to answer calls and handle it all very professionally. I work in the city of Beavercreek and thanks to them I feel safe. Just because they made one bad mistake a few years ago don't make them bad. They did what they felt was right at the time and personally I respect them for that. They put there lifes on the line every day to serve and protect. Follow the law and you won't have any issues because this is one police department that don't play around and actually does there jobs.

Do you let anyone walk right off the street and become a cop? I find it sad that I, as a psychology graduate, have more training than your "officers" do. Maybe, if you actually TRAINED your officers and required that they have at least a bachelor's degree before being employed, your department wouldn't suck so much. Instead of arresting harmless homeless men on the exit of the highway, why don't you start arresting actual criminals instead?

Every interaction we've had with the BPD has been a very positive one. They've always answered calls quickly, and treated everyone involved firmly but kindly. IMO, if you respect the law, law enforcement will respect you.

Don't judge the entire department by one incident (one officer). I have lived in Beavercreek for over 18 years and all of my experiences have been positive ones. Most recently, one of their officers went out of their way to notify me about an incident involving a family member. That's the kind of force they have - - well trained, loyal and committed to the community.
