Becker's Diamonds & Fine Jewelry, located at 65 LaSalle Road in West Hartford, CT, was opened in 1978 by Risa and Paul Becker.

We have nearly 40 years of experience with engagement rings and wedding bands, and we now carry bridal collections from designers Simon G., A. Jaffe, Gabriel & Co., Scott Kay, and ArtCarved. Additionally, you can find hundreds of different styles of fashion jewelry as well as fine pre-owned watches in our stores. Be sure to check out our amazing Estate Department, where you can find gorgeous vintage and pre-owned pieces at half the cost of new!

Becker's features a complete Custom Design and Jewelry Service/Repair Studio in the store. The large glass windows of the studio allow you to watch as your jewelry is being made or repaired by one of our master goldsmiths. Whether you need your grandmother's ring resized, a gold chain repaired, or a clasp replaced, our jewelry repair shop is ready to help. We have experienced goldsmiths on the premises to help you more efficiently and professionally. We invite you to bring any of your jewelry into our store for a free repair estimate. We also invite you in for polishing, cleaning, and inspection of any of your jewelry at no charge. Becker's Diamonds & Fine Jewelry wants to be your jeweler!

I went in the West Hartford store basically with the idea that I will just be looking around since my budget was so low for an engagement ring and had already been looking online and in many other stores. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, even after they learned my budget, and Amy went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me get exactly what I was looking for. The other staff were very excited and said that it was the sale of the day for sure- I'm not a crier, but the final ring was gorgeous, and I gave Amy a huge hug and thank you for not giving up on me and answering my hundred questions/pickiness/and firm budget. I left shaking, just overwhelmingly happy I found exactly what i was looking for, AND, could afford. No one got weird I was shopping for another woman, which is also usually something I get. And I definitely will be recommending this store to everyone, or if I ever am in the market for another ring/upgrade/etc.

Margie took me through the process of picking a setting and diamond and working with her goldsmith on getting my engagement ring perfect.  She was patient, helpful, energetic, and most of all listened to me and made sure I was happy!!!!  Customer service and care like this is hard to come by and made all the difference in going through the process. I googled and found this store and I'm glad I did. I had a nice diamond ring at an affordable price. The salesperson called Margie gave me the best service. She listened to my needs and directed me to the very ring my husband and I were looking for. I will definitely recommend Beckers they even size the rings in the store. My husband was pleased with that.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I was looking for an engagement ring and with only a few details from me they were able to pick out the perfect ring on the first try. They really try to make your experience great and they will not let you leave without you being completely satisfied with your purchase.

After losing my diamond from my engagement ring and finding insurance only paid the wholesale value for the diamond, my husband and I began our search for a replacement ring.  I had 2 wedding bands that wrapped around my engagement ring with a total of 6 baguettes.  The others stores that we visited, just didn't seem to listen and while they were helpful, nothing felt right.  Then we went to Becker's. Within 10 minutes, Amy found us the perfect diamond and suggested having my wedding bans soldered together and adding a setting.  I immediately had goosebumps and tears in my eyes.  She listened to me, and came up with the perfect solution.  She also suggested finding a semi precious stone to house in the original engagement ring.  I am so greatful to her.  On top of it all, the price was fantastic.  Next time I'm looking for jewelry, I will go straight to Becker's.
