I needed help preparing a decedent estate tax return. I called to inquire about retaining their services. Was told Duane was only person with proper experience to to speak with. Was told later that he was far to busy to speak with me and turned me away. To their credit, they did call back quickly and my rejection was prompt and courteous. This is July which is typically a slow season for tax preparation so possibly doing a bit of cherry picking or felt unsure of ability to do return. Most of the reviews seem to be about pretty simple returns so if you have anything more complicated you may want to consider looking elsewhere.

Honestly cannot say enough positive things about my experience. They really helped me last minute and in a jam. I've been recommending them to every person I know.

By far the best experiences I've had with tax preparation. Duane Beckett brings to the table expert knowledge and wonderful people skills. The whole team is very professional -- from confirming appointments to the tax prep itself to following up when necessary. Very fair prices for their services. This is about as close as you'll get to having an enjoyable experience doing taxes!

Duane Beckett and his staff have done my federal and state income tax returns for nearly 10 years. He was referred to me by a business colleague. My wife and I will typically go to his office and over the last few years, he is the one who has been preparing our taxes. Because it's done very quick and efficiently. (however I do spend a fair amount of time organizing information so each visit is about an hour) each visit last about an hour. He prepares and files the taxes electronically. Year after year, most of the forms are populated already and he makes any changes necessary. By the time we leave both federal and state income taxes are filed. Over the years we have never had any audit or revision for taxes. Typically if any refund is due, the federal refund arrives within a week and the state within two weeks. Duane and his staff are both efficient and friendly. They're very knowledgeable. The fees for filing state and federal taxes are more than reasonable. He is highly recommended.

I had a very positive experience using Beckett Tax to process and file my 2016 taxes. They were very affordable (much less than the national "chain" tax places), and were also able to offer suggestions that will save me money on next year's taxes. I would highly recommend Beckett Tax!
