When my accountant of 15 years retired he transferred his clients to a large accounting firm based in Appleton. I had only met the new person assigned to my account once, and he wasn't really invested in my business success. I stayed with that firm only 1 year before I switched to DMA 3 years ago. I always find everyone at DMA friendly and professional. I've never waited more than a day for a callback on a question. Sometimes it's been complicated and they've had to spend extra time researching to make sure everything is accurate. At the previous firm, I was just a number, and not surprisingly, they didn't take the time to get to know me or my business, or proof my return, making mistakes Dale Miller of DMA caught and corrected. My taxes are done at lightning speed - I wonder if they sleep or eat at tax time. I'm very grateful to have found them.

Dale Miller has been our financial advisor and tax accountant for over 10 years. We find it easy to make appointments and Dale never leaves us waiting. He does our personal and business returns in one appointment. All done, no need to come back later to pick them up or wait to have them sent to us. He answers all our questions no matter how dumb they are. He is smart and funny and makes getting our taxes done a pleasure, not something we dread. Go to DMA and ask for Dale. He is the best. STAY AWAY if you value customer service. Let me start by stating I was a customer here for 7 years. The new owner does not seem to value keeping appointments or respecting clients. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by staff and even worse, Dale (the owner here) will not pick up the phone or return messages to discuss the negative experiences. It appears to be standard procedure here to take an appointment, only to bump you when a bigger fish comes along leaving you hanging. If you attempt to question this, prepare to be disrespected and lied to be the staff. When I tried to speak to Dale directly about what is going on, I was met with a stonewall, followed by a letter telling me to take my business elsewhere. Wow! I guess some people just don't care about the customer. As a business owner myself, I can not fathom treating my customers this way. I will be much happier elsewhere.
