This congregations not only talks the talk but really walks the walk learning, living and teaching the real walk with God through a true relationship with His only begotten Son Yeshua (Jesus) in a family atmosphere where you are greeted with hugs and hearty Shabbat Shalom each Sabbath and unmeasurable teachings and answered prayers each and every week.

Beit Shofarot is a spirit filled Messianic Synagogue with teachings and interactive classes; learning, discussions for everyone from non-believers to those who are more mature in their walk. It is not "the church", it is the way of the original believers. You get the truth, it messes with your mind and the things you were taught and believed in the church are suddenly questioned as you dig deeper into understanding G-d's words. The Torah (The Law [ first 5 books of the Bible]) and Tanak (the whole Old Covenant) become like water...your thirst is never quenched, you can never get enough and then you see YeShua (Jesus) and how everything in the OT is shown again in the New Covenant (NT) and then again in Revelation. Beit Shofarot is mischpocha (family) that makes you feel welcomed and part of them the minute you walk through their doors. Come join us Jew and Gentile, learn with us, fellowship with us, serve with us, and worship Adonai

This is a great worship center where folks not only talk about the word but put into the lifestyle of everyday living. In growing up in church I took a lot of things for granted not realizing it, thinking that some certain elements in the bible only took place during ancient times or studied with pre-assumptions through a westerner’s eyes. In attending, I was able to pause and take another look at scripture through cleared lenses (I didn’t even know mine were fogged in the beginning). I definitely prayed to get clear direction and was provided the sign to stop, listen, and dig deeper on what was being revealed. Details were provided on un-opinionated facts on how leaders were influenced throughout history and tried to re-chart the real course that G-d wants us to follow. Getting closer to the roots it key. Just as we follow the Georgian calendar for US appointments, it was great to learn about the Hebrew calendar to keep G-d’s divined appointments. I’m a gentile with limited previous knowledge of the Jewish lifestyle or the Hebrew language. By attending Beit Shofarot this has allowed me to grow a stronger understanding and ultimately develop a deeper relationship with HaShem. I’m here to serve Yeshua (Jesus) and do not want to disappoint him by misunderstanding the most basic of commandants. The first commandant is to serve no other G-ds, sounds basic to not trip up on, and when you read about in the bible people serving Baal, never thought I did until I learned about the linkages of certain holidays and how this has creped in. I’m glad Adonai shows mercy when we don’t know the truth. If you desire to grow deeper in your walk with Yeshua by learning the truth and putting G-d’s commanded appointments in your daily life of Genesis to Revelations, I highly recommend attending and being part of this mischpocha (family) congregation. May G-d bless you on your journey of stepping out of the shallow water and deeper into his love!

Beit Shofarot was a culture shock I have to admit. I had spent my first 10 years in the faith attending non denominational churches and grew tired of the inconsistency and twisting of God's word. I was fed up with the answers pastors gave when asked why they do not follow Gods word completely. The answers really got crazy when I asked, "if Yeshua (Jesus real name) did away with all His laws why were they reinstated in the millennial kingdom?". So I thought, if Jesus was a Jew, the apostles were Jews, they all practiced Judaism, why not attend a Messianic Jewish synagogue! What I have learned since then is fascinating. If you want to know how Yeshua (Jesus) on a deeper and more accurate level, then come check it out. Beit Shofarot is doing exactly as Yeshua said...worshiping Him in both Spirit and Truth! Truth being His word, His Torah, His law.. P.S. If Yeshua did away with the law, why would He do away with Himself? John 1. God's word is only the first 5 books of the bible, everything else is commentary. Even when the apostles mention God's word, they are referring to the words specifically given to Moses back in the OT, not the NT. The NT had not yet been written nor been placed in the bible by the Catholic church who created what is known today as the Bible. Back then there was no bible, only the Torah (first 5 books meaning Instructions) and the Tanakh, the rest of what we know as the old testament.
