It took me a good 2 months to get an appointment here following a referral, but I liked Dr. Knops once I finally had my initial appointment. I didn't have to waste time in the waiting or exam room and once I saw the Doc, it took him about 5 minutes to come up with a care plan to take care of my problematic ears. Best and only place in town for ENT👂👃👄🙌👌

My daughter Sequoia is in her first term at WWU. She was so sick with a tonsil abscess, couldn't swollow, had severe ear pain, had been to the school health clinic 6 times and had a two week wait for ENT. Dr. Knops fit her into his schedule over lunch, was skilled and compassionate, and literally a half hour later she was beginning to feel better. A miracle!

Dr. Knops is, hands down, the best physician of any specialty I've had. He is honest, personable, down to earth, approachable, kind, and very, very smart. I would recommend him to everyone. He has been an MD and surgeon for years. He knows his stuff, and is SO down to earth with patients and family members. 5 stars!

He fractured my nose and even when I went in for over a year and went to another coligue because I was so upset and knew something was wrong, he never took an xray of the surgury he did. MY NOSE was fractured, the so called whatever put into my left nostril was healed totally wrong because it had abscessed and that also left a huge scar inside of my left nostril and a small hole where the stitch was. HORRIBLE dishonest Dr. I am so sad because I believe in Dr's and that they keep their oath. But this man I would not recommend to anyone. Dr. Lichtenberger is where you need to run to. In the same office. He is the one who did find out my nose had been fractured. So after my 3rd operation to fix the botched one that Dr. Knops did, I still cannot breathe. That is all I wanted, was to breathe better. Shame on Dr. Stackhouse who is a Christian, would not even listen to me when I told him my nose felt like a baseball bat was taken to it everyday. I was in so much pain. He said basically in the scheme of things does it matter. A year later I had my nose Xrayed and it was FRACTURED and nostril insert totally healed sideways, which I feel is because it had abscessed. I was not listened to, I was ignored, I was hurting and I will never forget this experience I still suffer, and what's even more sad, is I have had 3 operations now and STILL cannot breathe right. But thank God for Dr. Lichtenberger that confirmed that I did have something wrong happen to me. I was not out of my mind and imaging it, like I was made to feel. I am not saying that this Dr does all bad work, I can only speak of what happened to me. PS. He widened my nose, why?He also took cartilage from the front side of my right ear and did not even use it and that is another scar that could have been done behind the ear. Where/ and why was it taken in the first place? PTSD kicking in over this. It's horrible and all I wanted is to be able to breathe. Makes me so sad.
