On a recent visit to Fort Worth, we took our 7-year old to Benbrook for a riding lesson.  While our daughter is too young for riding trails, she (and we) had a fantastic experience.  Although our daughter has limited experience with horses, within an hour she progressed from being led to the arena by the instructor (Eric), to riding solo.  She was successfully riding around barrels and cones, stopping on command, trotting with good form, and truly controlling and communicating with her mount, a very well trained quarter horse.  

I must confess that I'm not much of a rider, but I learned a lot just from watching my daughter and listening to Eric.  Now that we are back in Portland (OR), we have revised our summer plans and are looking for someone like Eric to work with our daughter (and with me, so I have a chance at keeping up with her...)

Thanks and appreciation to Benbrook and its employees, especially Eric.

This is the 3rd time I have had to edit my review because the response from the owner is completely untrue and I can prove it.

After the owner posted this was a fake review the first time I then posted pictures of my granddaughter 
THE OWNER THEN CLAIMED IN RESPONSE THAT THIS IS A FAKE REVIEW THAT I TOOK MY PHOTOS FROM PICTURES OF A KID FROM HER SITE AND I WAS SOME OTHER DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER.

THE OWNER IS A LIAR IN HER RESPONSE, I WILL NOW WITH MY DAUGHTERS HELP, UPLOAD PICTURES THE OWNER AT BENBROOK STABLES CAN NOT STEAL OR PUT ON HER FB AND OTHER ACCOUNTS TO TRY TO DISCREDIT MY REVIEW.

WE WERE VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE CHILDREN'S RIDDING PROGRAM THEY OFFERED, AND I HAVE SEEN WHO I BELIEVE TO BE THE OWNER ARGUING WITH A PERSON IN HER OFFICE AND I WAS NOT IMPRESSED.

I am also very unhappy with her CASH ONLY PAYMENT SYSTEM, THIS SEEMS TO JUST BE A SCAM TO NOT PAY BUSINESS INCOME TAXES. 
THERE IS NO OTHER RESPONSIBLE REASON NOT TO TAKE CHECK OR CARD IN THIS DAY AND AGE.

This is not the only place we have taken our grand children to lessons.
We were very impressed with CURRAGH EQUESTRIAN CENTER which is near by and very fancy. It carry's it self as more like a prep school program which I appropriate.
We have also tried LAKE TRAILS STABLES which is on the other side of Benbrook lake, which I have been in formed goes on the same trails around the lake, although my kids have not gone that far.

I was not impressed with my experience with Benbrook stables.
But I found the treatment and the responses from the owner from my review to be disgraceful and who ever is in charge of running it should be ashamed of them selves.

Dropped of some kids for a senior party.
The staff was incredibly rude and the idiots left containers in my car and stained the seat.
One guy flashed a flashlight in my face and no one bothered to correct it.
I guarantee I will never do business with them.

SINCE POSTING MY REVIEW MOLLY AND HER EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN HARASSING ME AND ATTACKING ME AS NURSE AT MY WORK! YOUTUBE BENBROOK STABLES VOICEMAIL TO HEAR IT FOR YOURSELF AND
BENBROOK STABLES OWNER HARASSMENT FOR SLIDESHOW OF HER POST AGAISNT ME AS A NURSE ON MY HOSPITAL SITE.
 IF YOU DISAGREE WITH HER IN ANY WAY SHE WILL DO THE SAME TO YOU!
I started boarding my filly at Benbrook from July 2016 to summer 2017 I came from out of state so I was unaware of their bad reputation. My filly is my 4th show horse is out of Wimpy little step. I have successfully shown horses since my youth only to break for nursing school. I was only keeping my very expensive show horse at benbrook stables until she was older and I found a Texas trainer that was as good a my CO trainer.  My filly was moved 4 times after being injured and beat up by other horses so bad. I paid the stall price but all horses eat on round hay bales together in pasture for a few hours a day before being kicked out. They are fighting like cats and dogs. She suffered greatly. I finally paid an additional $70 to have more alfalfa she can gain weight. I kept a growth chart on her since she was a little baby. 
The owner Molly was absolutely terrible, we got in many disagreements including the fact that it she only feeds HAY once a day vs twice a day the more healthy way. Molly the owner didn't believe horses should be ridden until they are 3. The futurity program western pleasure, cutting and reining horse mandate no older than 2 yrs , which is why all the million dollar horses start between 18 to 20 months of age lightly. She thought I was abusing my horse by ridding her at 22 MONTHS even later than my Texas and CO trainer wanted her to start her.
Just Google AQHA futurity program, all the million dollar horses start there and they have to be less that 2 to perform.
Molly made it very clear that she makes all her money on trail rides and weddings, the boarders just gotten in her way and have always caused problems for her. I gave her my 30 day notice. She then got mad and told me to leave same day or she WOULD TAKE MY HORSE TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY.
I was emptying my tack locker and SHE HOSED ME WITH WATER AND I BEGAN TO SCREAM AND CRY I THEN RAN TO MY CAR.
Molly told my husband she only hosed me with water by accident. This is what you should expect unfortunately 
I moved my horse to the most amazing trainer I pay triple what I paid at benbrook stables but that's what it cost for an amazing trainer that shows and wins. After I left, Molly accused me of writing a review under the name Martinez. I told her I didn't and hadn't even written review under my own name at the time. I gave her advice to get it removed. Molly harassed me calling me and my Husband and facebooking me about the topic.I hadn't put a review on at all, at the time. I later saw that MOLLY WROTE IN RESPONSE TO A OTHER PERSONS NEGATIVE REVIEW THAT, I WROTE THAT REVIEW UNDER A FAKE NAME AND THAT I ABUSED MY HORSE. 
LOOK AT THE WAY SHE RESPONDS TO PEOPLE THAT DON'T PUT 5 STARS ON THEIR REVIEW.  LOOK AT THE WAY SHE SLANDERED MY NAME FOR OTHERS REVIEWS, 
And if you go there SAY HELLO TO THE EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE WRITTEN FAKE REVIEWS, DALTON WILLIAMS works at the desk, TORI MATLOCK wife of Cory Matlock review gives lessons and 2 more young  I have filed a POLICE report and she has been contacted to stop harassing threatening me as a Nurse. I have seen the Benbrook police at her property 3 times since I boarded there. If she responds to this I expect only the worse things she could say. Molly has failed to maintain class or any integrity when ending our business arrangement. This too can happen to you. I'm so glad I will never have to worry about seeing her and any AQHA circuits.  This is a review of my true real experience and I how I feel about my treatment, Molly has messaged me and has tried to scare me not to put a post, but I know my right to free speech. I don't need to lie, this is the truth!!  RE: MOLLY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING IN HER RESPONSE INCLUDING THAT MY HORSE WAS 13 MONTHS!!! OUTRAGEOUS!
