This restaurant is my LIFE! They have amazing food like their shrimp, steak and chicken! I also have a tradition at every Benihana's at my birthday, so that's my considered bonus! They're respectful that I have a Gluten allergy and not putting butter on my food. I personally think that they should have at least one Dairy-free dessert, just in case - like dairy-free sorbet. But otherwise, I want to thank them for their lovely services and will plan onto coming back for more someday.

I had a very nice experience today on Benihana restaurant in Monterey! We wanted to celebrate a birthday and we wanted something special. So we choose Benihana. Veeeery welcoming staff! Awesome food even if it was quite expensive. 😨😳🤪 Carlos offered us a wonderful show on the table, while he was cooking our food. We laughed a lot and we really enjoyed our time there. I definitely recommend this place! (I didn't take more pictures cause I was taking lives while Carlos was cooking).

We snuck in here late on a Sunday evening. First time at this location for us. We are Benihana veterans and have not hesitated to leave poor ratings for a few different locations in the Southern California region. This Benihana was a refreshing experience and a reminder that this is supposed to be good food with a show.

Good food, high price. Reservations usually not met, front desk isn't exactly the friendliest at times.

We had made a reservation for a party of 11 my daughter just graduated from CSUMB the service from beginning to the end was superb and the food and appetizer were delicious. Job well done guys.
