A local favorite since 1981, Domenico’s On the Wharf specializes in fresh sustainable seafood, including local Monterey Bay spot prawns, wild sockeye salmon, and Alaskan red king crab. What a great place to eat! Lovely ambiance! Spectacular location! Excellent food!! The Alaskan king crab legs we're pricey but delicious and very filling! The waitstaff was attentive and paid attention to every need! Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the Wharf! Definitely a Five Star setting and restaurant!!

This place should have 5 stars based on the clam chowder alone. It's the best on the wharf, I tried them all. It doesn't get 5 stars because the main entrees are a bit lacking especially for the price. It's not bad, but it's not worth the price you pay. Be aware, they don't allow strollers here. Aka they don't want kids in here. Which is fine for me as I don't have kids, but for being a touristy place that's a bit surprising since many families would be coming here to eat.

Good ! Really good ! Pricey but worth it ! The clam chowder is exquisite ! And the special of day are deliciously. The fish is always fresh and local. Really a good place ! I spend a wonderful night there. Great view on the port as a bonus :)

Richard cranium or the manager who's name is Andrew came to our table asking very hostel like what the "problem" was after we asked our server if we could somehow have the white rain pasta and steak as an entry since it wasn't an option. Apparently it's an impossible request, the manager Andrew said he would not do it and the kitchen will not do it either. We even mentioned that we would pay the up charge if any and he mentioned it was still an impossible request. He could how ever charge us full price for both and put it in a plate together, with the sides that come with the steaks on the side. Even though we didn't want the two other sides that came with the steak that each separately would cost $6 each (mentioned by the manager) coming out to $12 for the sides. The steak was $43 including the sides so $43-$12=$31 and the meatless pasta that we requested was $19. Long story short, we would have understood that the request was impossible but the unprofessionalism and rudeness that came from the manager was shocking. Edit: He charged us $10 for half portion of the pasta but still charged us $43 for the steak even though we didn't get the sides.

This is a great restaurant where the owner Sammy buys Monterey Bay Prawns, he catches his own salmon which ends up on your plate. How nice is that. Sammy greets you at the door and would love to tell you about his fishing experience. Love this guy and his restaurant.
