Getting a boot sole repaired. Employee with mustache gave me a hard time because I just wanted a repair and not a full $100 repair. Heard quality is good but if they have bad attitudes overall experience is bad. Disappointing.

I have been shopping at Bennie's and using their repair/recrafting service for my entire life after being introduced to them by my father, who was also a customer of many years. It's an old school men's shoe retailer, the likes of which don't really exist many places anymore. Though they only carry a few labels, they are all high quality, and they stand behind those products. Likewise, they stand behind their repair/recrafting workmanship as well. This may be their biggest upside, as their work is top notch and performed timely when compared to the higher fees and slow turnaround of sending shoes off  to the manufacturer for recrafting.

Awesome selection. Attentive, knowledgeable, and non-pushy service. Very fair prices. 

Was searching for the right shoe for over a month and thought I had tried everywhere until I found Bennie's. Bennie's had a better selection than any other brick and mortar store and was competitive with online prices (plus I could actually try them on before buying...)

Finally found the perfect shoe at Bennie's and it'll definitely be the first place I go next time.

Great shop with guys who want to help with whatever needs you might have. I, for instance, am on my feet 9 hours a day. We ran through several pairs of shoes before finding the pair that matched my needs. The salesperson was patient and priced me fairly. I'll definitely be returning.
