Made reservations here after spending the day on the very nice New Buffalo Beach. The decor leading up to the entrance of the Tavern was modern retro, the decor inside the Tavern just seems retro and in need of updating, new colors and overall a different vibe. We were seated right away even though we arrived earlier than our reserved time. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the Bangkok chicken. The Bangkok chicken was very very good. I likes everything about the dish, ESPECIALLY the cucumber salad! It is the best I have ever had. The fish and chips were also very good with the exception of the coleslaw, it was horrendous. Without exception, the worst I have ever had. I am hoping it was just a bad batch. It also seemed the menu was limited and expanding the choices would have huge benefits. Our server, Kathleen, was very very good. Especially near the end of the meal when I sat my lemonade down and bumped my water glass which exploded like it had been hit by a hammer. The first words out of her mouth was to ask if we were alright and to make sure neither of us had been hit by flying glass. Will we return? Yes, for the Cucumber salad.

Outstanding.. Food was great, service was terrific. Truly a pleasant evening that made up for a tragedy of errors at another restaurant the evening before. The Sea Bass was to die for... Everything was delicious. We will be back!!

Dog friendly, nice view of the marina on the patio. Upscale good food and service as well.
