Just wanted to give a shout out to Tim at the Southtowns center who was phenomenal!

I went in to find an affordable gender neutral bike. Was immediately greeted and helped by John who was equally as friendly as he was informative. However, I spent the longest amount of time with Tim. Never felt pressured to decide. Never felt like he was trying to sell me extras that I didn't need. He was funny, relaxed, polite, and completely down to earth. He respected my desire to stay in my budget throughout the process. Ended up buying a bike and bike rack for my car that I absolutely love along with a couple of inexpensive add ons. Thanks Tim!

It is a store that sells some ok bikes. Service and sales people have the typical snooty attitude to be found at a bike store without the competence to back it up. 

In a bind I've found myself buying things here, but it is with much hesitation.

Visiting from Wa. State to do the Ride For Roswell.. Staff at Berts treated me with respect and courtesy. Did a quick adjustment and fix to derailleur without charge. I thank you Berts for supporting this rider. Great shop

Have always bought our family's bikes at Bert's - every bike for two adults and three kids for 25 years and have been happy with all service and product.  But this experience is crazy coincidental and shows what kind of people own Bert's!  I was on vacation in Florida and was riding a bike that had problems with the back brake so we disconnected it.  A very nice man (another biker) at the Starbucks coffee shop insisted on adjusting it so that I could use the brake and ride safely.  As I was driving away I heard someone say something to that same man about the Buffalo Bills.  I turned around and asked if he was from Buffalo since I was from Orchard Park?  He said yes and the conversation continued until we discovered he was Bert from Bert's Bikes!!  Holy cow that's good service - what a kind and thoughtful man!  He insisted on adjusting a total stranger's bike in Florida so they were safe simply because he knew how to!  Hoorah for Bert - will continue to tell my story and buy my bikes at Bert's FOREVER!!!!

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful but I find it to be really over priced. They charge $10 for a normal 26inch tube. I was able to get a self sealing tube elsewhere for the same price.
