It has been a good experience for me to get Geek Squad service at Best Buy in Columbia SC at the Harbison. When I brought my laptop in wanted to back up my data. I brought a back-up with me which I left with my computer. Later I received a call that it did not have enough space to back up my computer so I told them I purchase a new one from them. So I purchased a new one and paid for the service to back up my laptop. I use my computer for work and not play i might add. I had to bring mu computer back several times and wanted to see a manager that somehow did not happen even though I asked because I made several trips there because they had really messed up my computer and emails. Besides all that I wanted to check when the last update was on the drive and it clicked. So I went back again. Then I got told that means the drive is BROKEN. It costs a lot of money to retrieve the information. The only people that used the back-up drive was Geek Squad and us checking for the last back-up. Except is clicked and we could not do that. When they called and told me that there was not enough space for a back up that tells me they tried to see if they could and at that point it was not broken because no one mentioned it. Something is not quite right here. The new back-up could not be checked so I brought it back with me as well. That is when they told me the clicking sound means the "old" one was broken. So how did that happen I wonder? Would not let me talk to a manager either. Strange and not a good service that I prepaid for for 1 entire year. My advice, look elsewhere if you have a computer issue. They messed up my emails so bad to this day the computer keeps synchronizing and I have to log out of it and manual;y turnoff Outlook (end task we had to figure out ourselves) and log on again to get me EMAILS to SEND that are stuck in the OUTBOX now. So several times a day I have to get our of the program and log back in to get my emails sent? Crazy, is all I can say and I never had that problem before. Oh, then I was told they don't really do Outlook. But why did they not say that before they touched my computer and messed it all up? I need it for my work. It is a paycheck to me not a game. HELP if anyone is reading this. Rosemarie

The guys at Best Buy Mobile are great. I was able to get the phone I wanted, a Blue Note 8, and have it set up, with no trouble. They explained all of the features, showed me what I needed to know about accessories, and made sure that I was satisfied. In and out...no lag time. I loved it!

The staff here are very helpful. They have a lot of special electronic items that you can all find in one location. The prices are a little higher than some other stores, but you're paying for the customer service and expertise.

We went in to buy a sound bar. Staff was very helpful to point out options at our target price point, gave us a demo of the item and we walked out with a new Samsung sound bar. Enjoying the new sound with the TV and streaming audio from the phone. Store was clean, had what we wanted and staff was very helpful.

Always a fun store to visit. I love electronics and always find cool stuff. If I have a question, there is always someone willing to help. They always have what I need and I can find it from home online if I don't want to hang out in the store. Love this place and highly recommend!
