I can not express how impressed I was with Dr Robert Kitei. Not only did he explain things in detail, he also was AMAZING with my 4 year old (very shy) daughter. He made her feel super comfortable and at ease. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well! We are super pleased with our visit to Bethlehem Eye Associates!

Arrived 20 minutes early, waited an hour after my appointment time to see the doctor. When he finally did arrive, he was rude, acted like he knew my vision better than i did. His whole exam was only about 3 minutes, so I waited an hour for a 3 minute visit.

They charged a late fee of 70 for 40 dollar bill. Its their policy. I dont think i will go back.

A rushed and impersonal experience. I visited with Dr. Robert Kitei for a checkup, and found him to be brisk and impatient. He handled me with all the care of an office worker busily filling away to punch out at 5:00:00 PM on the dot. I do not question his competence, as he showed as much immediate knowledge of my condition as any doctor I've met, but I wonder that I might have bored him, as he seemed to go through my appointment as though completing a checklist with mechanical efficiency. His confident demeanor, while initially inspiring of confidence in turn, was near hyperactive, and left my head spinning as he told me everything was fine and shook my hand. I felt the technician or nurse who led me in and conducted my basic vision tests was more sympathetic by far. She may have spent as much or more time with me as did the doctor himself. Perhaps I needed to ask for it, but they didn't even perform a refraction. I mean - what would it have taken, another few minutes? At checkout, I asked for a copy of the paperwork (clinician's notes) from the visit, which was inhospitably received. I realize most people don't ask for that, but I care about my eyes, I'm always curious about medicine, and I believe I'm entitled to my own d*** medical records. This simply reinforced my perception of being as a head of cattle: a number among myriad nameless others to pass through another successful assembly-line practice. I'm tired of these large corporate-style conglomerated practices which apply the fast food formula to medicine, packing appointments in to maximize profit at the expense of standard of care.

Was treated terribly by a woman by the name of Angie on the phone. I had simple questions and she raised her voice and spoke down to me. Extremely unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I was interested in seeing the doctors in this office but will absolutely not be doing so because of the terrible first impression made by the front end workers.
