Betty's Place is consistently good. Sometimes great. Side dishes and especially baked items tend to be big enough to share.

If your breakfast includes toast you can choose between the typical two pieces with butter and jam, or two large muffins which seem a much better value, unless you really really really want toast.

Betty's is often a bit overcrowded, and seating is not spacious. But it is worth it. Price for a full breakfast with a drink is around $15 as of Fall, 2017.

We were looking for a reasonably priced place for lunch with a comfort food menu in Hood River and found it!  Great location, right at the west end of all the shopping on Oak Street.  Our waitress was adorable and attentive and the food was excellent!  Sub'd a veggie patty on my menu specialty burger with no problem, shakes and fries were superb!

My husband & I stopped in for breakfast on our way to Ellensburg. We wanted to give back to Hood River because of the fire!  We randomly pick this place! Wow Bette's is amazing, big portions, great atmosphere and the waitress was wonderful!! We will definitely be back and recommend Bette's Place!

Great service, great food, very accomodating substituting veggie patty in any of the burger selections, great fries... glad we stumbled upon this on our day out!
