Happy hour worked out well. Beer is crafted here; not bad but there is room for improvement. 2beers + 6 spicy chicken wings for 17 bucks. I don’t think they are aware of this google reviews. If they had an intentional way to change their image i could give them a 4 star.

Coffee ground burger tastes dry, flavorless, and overdone. Macaroni and Cheese belongs on the kids menu, or a retirement home. Our server seemed upset we asked for beer samples (being they are a brewery). Fries are definitely frozen. Beer is okay. Much better options in Hood River (Pfriem, Full Sail, and Double Mountain). Bathrooms are sketchy. Do not poop here.

Beware, bait & switch.  Visited Big Horse for dinner based upon their website food & beer menu.  When it was time to order we were told that the menus and beer selections had all been changed 2 days prior. Really... does it  actually take more time to design and print new menus than it takes to change what's online?  Thumbs down from us!

Pros: food was very good, wide selection of option-- vegan, GF, meaty, whatever you want. 
Cons: service was terrible, beer mediocre. 

Showed up at 7:30 on a Sunday, restaurant was reasonably empty. Nobody acknowledged me for a few minutes, servers were all congregating and talking. We finally got sat and ordered our drinks-- I got a flight, and there were only a couple of decent beers. Incredibly mediocre selection. We finish our first round of beer waiting for the food-- waiter comes and asks if we want refills without commenting on why the ticket time was approaching 30 min. Finally get our food after a 45 min wait- 15 min before closing. We had ordered a steak and a few burgers, but with four other tables sat in the restaurant, I would've expected a 20-25 min wait for food. We got out quickly. Would not recommend for anyone who has disabilities or trouble going up 3 flights of stairs.

Big Horse has a great El Dorado IPA on tap. Fish and chips were great. Beer has really improved with new Brewer just in time for the Hops Fest this weekend.
