We're so fortunate to have such an awesome place in this area! First of all, I love that Joel himself, and his family, are actively involved in running the Safari! His parents are so kind and fun to talk to! They're knowledgeable AND they treat you like family! I was impressed with the play area, my kiddos had a blast crawling over the tires and going down the slide. It was fun to see and read about different animals as well to get to feed them! I felt the area was well maintained and the animals were well taken care of. It was big enough to provide fun for the whole family but not so big that it was overwhelming. This is a fun, affordable place to take the family! . Ahuge thanks to Joel and his family for all they do!

This place is awesome!!! The animals are cool and so are the staff. The staff are very knowlegable and nice. Joel is sweet and talks to everyone. Parakeet girl (I think she said she was Catherine?) is super sweet and friendly and was great with my kids. Education Station person was also friendly. Great place.

I went here for my nephew's birthday party, and I had a blast seeing all of the animals. It's a great place for people of all ages to see and learn about animals from all over the world. My nephew had a great time getting to feed a majority of the animals. My personal favorite critter is the giant African porcupines. Even though my wife and I don't have children, I brought her here after she got back into town and she loved it too. Her only concern was that some of the goats looked much too well fed.

Anyone who likes this place is okay with animal cruelty. The area these large animals are in are way too small but only a person educated about animals I guess can only see that. A pig loves mud- there is a 500lb pig in a small area that is completely dry and no where for this pig to move around and by the noises this pig was making it was not happy at all. And kangaroos? They need PLENTY of room and there in such a small area. Every pen these animals are in are way too small. The lemurs play area was filthy and disgusting- filled with poop. Almost all the pens I noticed were FILLED with poop. These animals are not taken care of properly. Sure it’s cute and fun to feed animals but let’s get real. I will NEVER support this. If they put a little more effort in to giving these animals good lives while caged up, sure.

If I were an animal, I would want to live here. If you haven't brought your kids here, do it now...because you are seriously missing out! The animals are adorable and plentiful, you can tell the staff LOVES them. It is clean and set up nicely. There is a play area for kids. You can ride a camel. Listen...JUST GO! Thank me later!
