Absolutely loved it. My aunt and I went Friday Dec 8,2017 and did the VIP package. Bill was our tour guide and did a fantastic job. The heat on the bus wasn't the best but we were dressed for cold weather and didn't get cold at all. The light display was beautiful, loved the 12 days of Christmas. Seeing the animals was nice and getting to hold "Paul" the Kangaroo was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! We bought a VIP pass for me and VIP plus for my daughter, who is ten. We both had a great time! Never experienced anything like this in any other zoo! We got to pet a South American opossum, lizard, and a Dingo pup! There were many other animals brought by a zoo keeper for us to see and touch. For the Plus experience, my daughter got to feed and pet sloths in their cage! three adults with two babies! It was something she still talks about a month later! We also had a very interesting drive through the zoo on a bus, where we fed animals who expected to be fed, and very persistent. It was hilarious! The zoo itself is very small, but the effect of getting close to animals is wonderful! I have never seen hyinas so close and never appreciated how big and strong they are. We also fed parakeets, it was like being swept by a wave of birds! The animals here are well taken care of and loved. We are sure to visit again!

I didn’t know what to expect this close to the strip, but wow! The drive thru tour was great! And the petting/feeding area was awesome too! Don’t expect animals to walk up to your car. They are in large fenced areas just off of the road. But, you are still able to get pretty close. The walk through area is fun and petting/feeding is allowed for all of the animals that you can reach. I was surprised at how many animals were out considering it was 36°F when we went. The parakeet aviary is so cool. There are hundreds of parakeets flying around and roosting in an enclosure and you can feed them with bird seed on sticks. They will even hop on your feeding stick! There aren’t hundreds of species or anything, but for being so close to the main strip and having the freedom to ride in your own car makes this place totally worth it.

Edit: NOT: Wonderful!!!!!!!! Their 65+ acre expansion is nearly ready to open (writing this July 10, 2017). Pricing seems awfully high, but I guess they aren't increasing it post-expansion, so that's great. They do have multiple levels of price, for different activities. I've only ever done just the plain old general admission (~$15 each), and had a wonderful time. Not sure that pricing for "extras" goes along with their Christian, we're here to help the animals philosophy. (~$75 each to hold a sloth.... Well.... A priceless experience for sure, but prohibitive for most folks!!) I do absolutely love love love this little (for now!!!) Zoo! It IS in the Ozarks, so its trés hilly...... Might be too much for someone with a mobility impairment or heart/lung problems. Could use some more benches in strategic spots!! Current restrooms are not very w/c friendly. Easy to find. Nice helpful staff, in general.

Went to see the drive through Christmas lights and w e really enjoyed it. Zoo was clean and no traffic going through. Very well organized. Was impressed with the sloths. They had Santa and reindeer and we got to take a picture. Santa was really friendly.
