Built in 1969, Big Surf Waterpark is America’s Original Waterpark boasting one of the largest wave pools in the world, Waikiki Beach. Nestled on 20 acres in Arizona on the northern tip of Tempe and just south of Scottsdale, Big Surf has remained an Arizona icon for over 40 years and features dozens of other thrilling water features all in a safe and family friendly atmosphere.

Big Surf Waterpark Operating Hours:
Mondays – Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunset Fridays in June & July – Park will remain open until 9 p.m.
Sundays: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Boogie Board sessions are back this summer. All swimmers without Boogie Boards will be asked to exit the pool during the following Boogie Board sessions:
Mondays – Saturdays: 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m
Sundays: 12 – 12:30 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Daily Surf Sessions: 5 to 6 p.m. (bring your own board or rent one from us)
Rafts – $6.50 with a $1 refund when returned
Boogie Boards – $5.50 with a $1 refund when returned
Surfboards – $16.50 with a $1 refund when returned
Locker Rental – $7, $10 & $16 based on their size
PLEASE NOTE: Lockers may be rented for a full season for $49.95
