What a fun park! It will be even more fun once our granddaughter is big enough to really enjoy it. So many fun activities: it has playground equipment, like many parks, but it takes playground equipment to the next level with all kinds of extras like climbing walls and zip lines. 

But this park doesn't stop at the playground. My granddaughter got to experience her first carousel, a miniature petting zoo with goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and an alpaca, several versions of bounce-houses, and even a small train that circles the park. So much fun for the little ones and big ones alike!

This is a very nice and family-friendly Park to visit. The rides there are priced reasonably at $3 per person and children under 2 ride free. Also be sure to check out the Christmas train ride that starts at 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. up until Christmas Eve night. The wait times generally get along around 7:30 p.m., but it is well worth the visit and well worth your time. There are also quite a few play areas for the kids. For snack options there is a concession stand and you do get to see quite a few different types of trains from the bygone days. Would definitely recommend if you got an hour or two to spend and not a lot of money.

Very well done. Cheap prices and lots of fun for the kids. Thoroughly impressed. Even the toys in the gift shop were cheaper than Amazon. Who would have thunk it? It's definitely worth getting there a little early and paying extra for the express pass. It will save you a lot of time waiting in line.

Great place to take kids and it is free to get in!  Train rides and the museum are only $2 dollars per person which I think is amazing.  They also have three model train layouts in N,HO and O guage.  The layouts are interactive so the kids can stay engaged by running certain attractions.  They also have a small store that sells great ice cream!!

If you are visiting the Phoenix metro area with your family, this is a great, inexpensive, way to enjoy the evening.  During the holidays, the place is very festive with Christmas lights everywhere.  We spent $5 a head to ride the mini train, it was definitely worth it.  There's a small snack shop (with ice cream!) and a scale model train building too.  For a park operated by the city, it's awesome.
