Love the vibe, experience and atmosphere of this sports bar. Food is damn good, especially the Maryland staple fried obey wings. Do try the obey wings! Drinks are perfectly chilled. A good place to meet, chill and relax!!!!!

Great place to eat. At least in the Reistertown location the staff was friendly, prompt, food served fairly quick. Lots of specials. On Mondays the all you can eat wings and boneless are to die for! On Wednesdays the crab cakes specials the crab cake is indeed special! I always come back and will continue to come back!

Great place for bar food (Maryland crab cakes, burgers, wings, fries, etc. as well as lunch/dinner entrees. Specific deals every day of the week and very good happy hour times and options. There are also game nights...Trivia! I enjoy it.

Average pub food, college crowd, sports on TVs, decent specials

Meh. College bar. A bit run down and dreary. Wings were literally drenched in sauce; you could have filled a mug with it. I had to take my wings out of the soaked, paper-lined basket & put them on a plate to keep them from getting soggy. The wings themselves were decent enough, however. Not good enough to warrant another trip, but serviceable. Don't expect celery with the blue cheese dressing, though. That 2¢ item is gonna cost you extra. The bartender was a very nice, personable & attentive young lady, maybe a college student(?). I wish I could remember her name to give her kudos. The place hasn't changed one bit since I was last in it 10+ years ago. Like Grandma's house, with the same furniture & pictures since your childhood. The air even "felt" old; it was 85 degrees outside but probably 78 inside. The A/C was obviously set on a high temp, probably to save money. Just like Grandma. Two big ceiling fans didn't help, as one was blowing air up & the other was blowing air down. I had considered leaving when I first went in because I wanted to cool down & not feel like I was sitting outside on a hot day, but I decided to stay & watch the Yankees at Boston game. Not as easy as it sounds. The TV's were all on sports, but they had them on the setting where the picture is stretched out. Probably no one knows (or cares) about HD settings, making it visually uncomfortable to watch the game. Plus, they were small TV's, the size you would put in your bedroom, not a so-called "sports bar." The color on many was drab & a bit unfocused. I wouldn't be surprised if some were old tube TV's. Plus, they had one TV projected onto a pull-down movie screen; you know, the kind you had in grade school in the 1970's. You truly have to see it to believe it. I'm surprised there wasn't a Pac-Man video game. But they DID have an old stuffed animal claw machine at the front. It has probably been there since 1979. One poster on the wall was faded and looked like it had been hanging there since 1979 as well. The beer coolers behind the bar were likely 40+ years old, and they looked every bit like they were from an old supermarket deli counter. I was looking for a bald, heavyset guy in a dirty white butcher apron to come from the back room & start slicing lunch meat at the bar. The check came on a warehouse-type particle-board clipboard, the kind used on a construction site. It screamed, "We are cheap & don't care one bit about our image!" Better to just lay the paper check on the bar, in my opinion. It's obvious they don't care about having some sort of identifiable theme or atmosphere. It's not really a sports bar & not really a restaurant, more like something in between. Hard to describe. I'm sure in its heyday 30 years ago it was cool & had its own character, but it's a dinosaur when compared to today's standards. It's not really bad...just screaming for an upgrade. Even the bathrooms were outdated; in the men's room they have newer urinals, but the pipes from the old ones were just cut off and sticking out of the wall at chest level! I kid you not! At least it was clean. The bar is a place I would go with some buddies to grab a beer (not watch a game), but not some place I would bring a date, especially if I wanted to impress her. It's not retro; it's just old, drab & dreary. I'm surprised, because they have other locations & I would assume that means they have a GM who makes sure there is consistency among the sites. But based on what I saw here, the owners don't care about consistency or appearance. A shame, cause an upgrade probably wouldn't cost that much & could put them on par with other establishments, unless they've decided this is nothing more than a college bar & it's going to stay that way. Still, they would be advised to update it a bit. But if they've let it go this far, they probably have no intention of moving into the current century.
