Serpentine belt came apart on 95 just south of Vero with a long way to go to get home. Radiator hose blew due to overheat from serpentine belt not driving water pump. In the time it took to get a tow truck I found Billy's online, called them and got a very genuine sense of competence from James. Not having many other choices elected to have my car towed to Billy's. I'm a mechanic at heart, and engineer by trade and was apprehensive about being at the mercy of an unknown auto repair shop that knew I was stranded. My fears were quickly replaced by hope seeing the very capable and we'll organized shop. Burt evaluated and worked on my car. I had anticipated parts and labor taking one to two full days, and was already working on a rental car when Burt told me they had or could get the parts, and could probably get me back on the road shortly. I agreed and Burt went to work. In the job he found that some of the idler pulley mounting casting had broken with the belt failure. He improvised and created a replacement bushing to balance the pulley loads. To get it all back together and me on the road, all four of the mechanics there pitched in to get the job done right. My car was resurrected and ran fine all the way home. Billy's auto was honest, competent and fair. Not only would I take my car back to them in an emergency but I'm trying to figure out how to get to them for regular service. Thank you Billy's!

I've always had good experiences with Billy's in the past. Unfortuately, it seems that my luck has changed. I had a serious issue with my VW Passat and towed the car to Billy's on a Friday morning. They were busy and told me that they wouldn't be able to look at it until the following week. I called back on the following Tuesday evening. The car still hadn't been looked at. I was told that someone was sick and somebody else hadn't shown up for work. If only I had taken this for the sign that it obiously was and picked up the car at this time.... The following Friday, after one week, I finally got a call back and was given a phone estimate of $1,500. That seemed reasonable and I asked how sure he was about that number. He said it was pretty firm, it just depended on how many valves he had to replace. I asked again if he was quoting me $1,500 now and was going to charge me $2,500 when I picked it up. I was assured it would be near the $1,500 since the valves were only $22 (or so) each. I called weekly over the course of the next 5 weeks. They never bothered to contact me with a status report. I was always told that they were waiting on this or that and that they would call. Two days before hurricane Irma was supposed to hit - five weeks after I had dropped the car off, I got a call that I could pick up my car. I told them that I had made my hurricane plans already and that they didn't include the car. After some discussion, they agreed to keep the car over the weekend. Finally, the following Friday - six weeks from the day I dropped it off, everyone had power and Internet again so that they could take credit cards. I went to get my car back and was presented with a repair bill for $2,500. I believe that Billy's has violated Florida law by not informing me that the repair cost was going to exceed the estimate by more than 10%. I don't know what else to do about it other than to warn others to prevent this from happening again.

My family has been taking their cars to Billy's for as long as they have been in business. Their labor rate is so reasonable and they always do a great job and work very efficiently. I moved to Orlando over three years ago and have yet to find such a good shop up there.

My daughter is a student and needed some work done on her car. I normally do all the work on her car but I live in NY and she is near their shop. I was worried because it would be so easy to take advantage of her. These guys were great! The repair was small and I knew it wouldn't tale long - they did the work fast and charged her a fair price. I now feel better knowing that she has a fair auto repair shop to take care of her car.

I was referred to Billy's by a friend for my auto service needs, I was not disappointed. We had just returned from a 3 month trip up north and our Jeep had developed a few problems while we were gone. I made an appointment with Billy's and they took me in and fixed all the problems and a few I did not know about. Excellent service, we will come back for all our auto repair or service needs.
