One star based on residential pricing. Note: I didn't have Bishop perform the work, so this review is not about their quality of service. My need was to have new faucets (which I supplied) replaced for each of two bathroom sinks. Bishop's initial on-site estimate was $1,600. Their flat-rate pricing comes from their binder and automatically includes (not optional) replacing the traps. When I asked for an estimate that excluded trap replacement, the plumber needed to call headquarters. After that call, the price came down a hundred dollars or so. I then told the plumber I would pay only the $79.95 visit fee and send him away. He made one more call to headquarters to reduce the price. He then told me the total, to replace both, would be $800 (50% less than the original quote.) $800 to replace 2 bathroom faucets (which I'm supplying) still seems too high. Note: The work area under the sink is easily accessible. I'm posting this review as a heads-up to any first-time residential customers who are considering Bishop Plumbing, so they have a preview of how their pricing is done.

Excellent service! Speedy and efficient! Bryan the tech was awesome and resolved the issue in just a few hours. And they had to haul the water heater replacement up a flight of 4 stairs. Highly recommend!

Bishop Plumbing is the best. Called them three times for emergencies -- one flooding water heater and two broken pipes. So friendly and helpful --and fast -- that we continue to hire them for non-emergency work. They are prompt, thorough and go above and beyond what they're asked to find a solution to any problem.
