This five star is for a buffet style Chinese food category, not just any restaurant. The service is very willing to help meet your needs and replace any item on the buffet. There is a hibachi grill that will grill to order in front of you. The selection is larger than any other in Statesville. Despite the random trinkets for impulse buying at the entrance, the restaurant is very clean and spacious.

Excellent food, great service! And less costly than expected! Definitely recommend this place as a dinner out for the family or as a date night, etc. Took my daughter and grandson out for dinner. This was his first time here and he can't wait to return! Gave it his highest recommendation! Daughter goes often... She knew he would enjoy the food! I've been a few times as well. Great buffet choices and for those who don't know, they have a nice grill in the back of the restaurant where you pick your choice of meat or fish and veggies and they cook it while you watch. Wonderful atmosphere, too! Very pleasant, friendly staff!

I went down to visit family this was my 3rd time coming there. It was excellent until today. We went in and the food was super cold and soggy. Then I tried to feed my ONE year the rice with carrots and peas and it was so hard I couldn't bite into it and it was like stuck together So I showed the lady and she proceeded to tell me my child shouldn't eat rice she's to young and that i just let it set on the table to long. 😠 let's say I will never go back again.

Well let me put this delicately they close at 10 don't come in at 9 maybe about 8 might be good at the latest... the sweet tea is terrible the pepper steak was actually good with little bit I could get out of it there was not much else to choose from... definitely not one of the better Chinese buffets all around though.. the cold shrimp was actually cook pretty good with the cocktail sauce is no good their vanilla pudding is not good... one of the few things my wife likes is the sesame chicken and she did not like that... c'est la vie

The food is generally good.  Atmosphere is the usual super controlled: subtle and not so subtle hints at not taking too much food, using same silverware for multiple plates.  Don't go late; items will be low or not replaced.
